What we do, in plain English.
Most CCTV deployments fail quietly: cameras pointing at nothing, storage retention that doesn't meet policy, and a network that grinds to a halt at 4K.
We design surveillance systems from first principles — coverage plans, lens choice, bandwidth budgets, storage sizing and cyber hardening — so the footage is there when you actually need it.
Every install ships with clear runbooks, remote monitoring options, and a maintenance schedule that keeps the system honest for the full lifespan.
- Site survey report with coverage heatmaps
- Bill of materials with camera, NVR and networking specs
- Structured cabling and rack installation to industry standards
- Configured VMS with user roles and retention policy
- Mobile and desktop viewing apps for authorised staff
- Documented handover pack and warranty schedule
- Optional 24/7 monitored response contract
Capabilities under this practice.
A predictable, four-phase delivery.
- 01Survey
Physical walk-through, coverage requirements, lighting audit and compliance review.
- 02Design
Camera placement, lens choice, storage sizing, network topology and cost breakdown.
- 03Install
Cabling, mounting, configuration and acceptance testing with your security team.
- 04Maintain
Scheduled health checks, firmware patching and rapid-response support contracts.
Answers to the questions we hear weekly.
How much storage do we need for our cameras?+
It depends on resolution, frame rate, codec and retention policy. A typical 4MP camera at 15fps H.265 uses ~15GB per day. We size storage properly during the design phase — no guesswork.
Can we monitor feeds from mobile devices?+
Yes — all systems ship with authenticated mobile and desktop apps, with role-based access so staff only see feeds relevant to their site.
Is the system GDPR compliant?+
We design against ICO guidance: signage, DPIA support, retention limits, access logs and subject-access-request tooling. Compliance is a design input, not an afterthought.
Do you offer integrated intruder and access control?+
Yes. Cameras, alarms, door access and visitor management can be unified into a single VMS pane, with cross-triggered events (e.g. door forced → nearest camera bookmark).
What happens if a camera or NVR fails?+
Health monitoring flags failures within minutes. Standard SLAs bring on-site response inside 4 business hours; critical sites can opt for 24/7 with hot-spare hardware.
